FAQ’s
What is the difference between a bookkeeper and a CPA or Tax Preparer?
A bookkeeper handles the day-in-day-out financial record keeping and reporting. A CPA or Tax Professional uses the information supplied by the bookkeeper in the preparation and filing of taxes. Having a good bookkeeper is just as important to the growing business as having a good CPA/Tax Professional.
If I hire a bookkeeper or a bookkeeping service, will I still need a CPA or Tax Professional?
Yes. We advise all of our clients to retain the services of a CPA or Tax Professional. We will work with the CPA or Tax Professional of your choice. We will prepare everything to the satisfaction of your CPA or Tax Professional. Professionally prepared financial records save the CPA or Tax Professional time. The less time a CPA or Tax Professional need to review and prepare your financial records the lower your fees will be. So, professional bookkeeping saves your business time and money. Time because the records are complete and the CPA or Tax Professional will have fewer questions. Money because it takes the CPA or Tax Professional less time. Now, you can take these savings and reinvest them back in your business. Professional bookkeeping keeps your focus on building your business.
